As seen here, here, and here, some folks are getting creative in the way they deface ads, plastering Photoshop stickers on subway billboards in Berlin.
I love this.
Some time ago, there was a movement about (it seems like I first saw it on BigFatBlog) to sticker diet/weight-loss ads with “[citation needed],” a la Wikipedia.
I’m sad I haven’t seen anything like that around here.
We need things like that here. What a lovely idea! Instead we get angry when Sarah Palin isn’t touched up? Ugh. Also, altairian, didn’t see that on BFB but that’s a great idea too!
I love this – creative primarily. I love the idea of using stickers to make statements, and this is a great statement.
Like Obana’s eleectin material used in desigdningd clodthes, the banner clothes can be put lin to use in the following manner:

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Obama’s election banners and other materials were utdilised for designing clothes. Similarly the banners can be used for the following purpose:
1. Use the materials for providing clothing material for the poor people.
2. Draw small pieces and use them for cleaning all types of places so that the banners displayers will know that their materials are worthless.
3. Instead of displaying banners use the funds for improving the lots of the down trodden.
4. Similarly advertisements by political parties and Government for various types of announcement should be discouraged and used for good cause like improving the lot of the down trodden.
5. The same principle can be followed by industrialists and others who spent companies’ funds for various self popularity measures.
6. Instead of popularizing the various activities by use of banners, advertisements the politicians should do honest and uncorrupted work which will benefit the whole nation.
Many more can be added to this list. Let us being honest work.
