My intro to women’s studies professor passed this comic out today.
Judging from the partial text above the cartoon, I ask… what is the context of the cartoon?
The cartoon is unrelated to the story–the New Yorker just inserts cartoons every couple of pages throughout the articles, and they don’t have anything to do with the story.
Ah ok. Thanks for the response.
Has this website explored the utter other-worldliness that is Arab/Muslim Middle Eastern TV vis a vis sexism?
I don’t think we’ve done anything with that, just from lack of relevant clips and much knowledge of the specific topic or shows.
