U.S. Census Director Bob Groves sheds light on the scope, mechanics, and mission of his bureau and its most famous project.

Robert M. Groves is the Director of the United States Census Bureau and a professor of sociology at the University of Michigan.
Colby King is in the sociology program at the University of South Carolina. He is also the founder of the Postcards of Place blog, which each Wednesday shares postcards collected by filmmaker Amy C. Elliot during the filming of this documentary, at postcardsofplace.com.
Jesse Wozniak is a Ph.D. student in the sociology department at the University of Minnesota.
