Con Corazón San Antonio

San Antonio, Texas has a large Latino population that is at risk for COVID-19. Indiana University sociology Ph.D. student Sean Viña has been working with an alliance of civic leaders, academics, public health officials, and city officials to design and field a public health campaign that will encourage corona virus prevention in that community. The campaign wants people to connect with each other “con corazón” instead of a handshake or a hug. By taking culture into account, this campaign wants people to sustain the love and affection that binds people in that community together. Please watch this video and distribute it. It’s sociology in action and it can have an impact: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=15&v=DRNpN1-BWDQ
