Authors
Tim Ortyl is a Ph.D. student in the sociology department at the University of Minnesota and a member of the Contexts graduate student editorial board. He studies sexuality, gender, and nontraditional families in contemporary American society.
Jeremy Minyard received his M.A. in Sociology from the University of Minnesota ('10) and his J.D. from Vanderbilt ('05). He currently teaches sociology at Anoka-Ramsey Community College and is a member of the Contexts graduate student editorial board.
