Authors
Deborah Carr is Contexts' Trends editor. She teachers sociology at Rutgers University. Her research focuses on the sociology of the life course, aging, social psychology, and gender.
Ted Conover teaches journalism at New York University.
Avery F. Gordon is in the department of sociology at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Mary Pattillo is in the departments of sociology and African American studies at Northwestern University.
Jeffrey Prager is in the department of sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles, and is also a practicing psychoanalyst.
Erik Olin Wright is in the department of sociology at the University of Wisconsin, Madison and is currently the president of the American Sociological Association. He is the author of Envisioning Real Utopias.
